Charter Earth Day Events! Tuesday, April 22.
Amber Walker: Nature Inspired Art (leaf and flower "bugs", Andrew Goldsworthy inspired art) 11:30-12:30 in the Grove. (We will create temporary projects from natural materials. Alex Leovic: Campus Trash Pick-up: 12:00-12:30, meet outside of Quail Hollow Homeschool's "Creek" classroom by the MPR.
Cindy Pressley: Campus Beautification-weed pulling (with music, buckets, and gloves provided): 11:30-12:30, meet outside Nature Academy classroom Rm. 20
Melanie Burgess: Planting Milkweed for Monarchs-meet at the Tea Garden on the Lower Campus, during lunch. (Hosted by CRHS Environmental Horticulture Class. High school students will be helping students choose location, plant, and water. Leftover milkweed plants will be gifted to families or teachers at pick up.)
Mabel Cordero-Leathem: The Library will have a book display centered on Earth while covering various topics from conservation and field guides to vegetarian cooking and gardening! A watercolor table for students to make an Earth inspired watercolor painting will be set up, and The Seed Library is always there!
