MARK BREWER, FORMER SLV EMOLOYEE AND COACH, PASSES AWAY

With a heavy heart we would like to inform you of the passing of one of our SLV employees. This week, Mark Brewer, longtime Instructional Aide and Coach passed away. Mr. Brewer worked for the SLV TEAM for the last twenty-seven years.

Notification Regarding PowerSchool Cybersecurity Incident

We have been informed about a cybersecurity incident where, PowerSchool – a cloud-based software vendor who is used by San Lorenzo Valley Unified School District – recently experienced a cybersecurity incident involving unauthorized access to certain information in the PowerSchool Student Information System (SIS). Please note we do not keep any Social Security Number information in PowerSchool. (Please click on this article to read more information.)

Notification Regarding Recent Earthquake Activity in Northern California

Dear SLV Community,

We are aware of the 6+ magnitude earthquake that occured in Northern California, north of Fort Bragg, which has triggered a tsunami warning. We want to assure you that the District is aware and that all students and staff are safe.

We will continue to monitor the situation and communicate if necessary.
